What Went Down At Coachella 2019

One of the most awaited music festivals of the year, Coachella has done it again. From glitz & glamour, to flower power, this year’s set has colour right all over it. From artists like Ariana Grande, Childish Gambino, Zedd, Kid Cudi, Khalid, Weezer, and many more surprise guests, new Kpop group Blackpink also graced the stage and gave the audience a new type of music to watch out for in the coming years. Band 1975 also had singer No Rome perform a song in their set. Take note, he is a young Filipino artist who’s releasing an album soon & touring with them worldwide.

Coachella has become a hub for brand activations and aside from the music, these fun, interactive, & instagram worthy booths are what makes the whole festival even more exciting.

It’s like a blast from the past donning some bling  or stitching quotes on your favourite denim apparel. Levi’s promotes creativity and personal tastes in the event. They also observed how people altered the look of their denim wear to fit their style and personalities.

Google Pixel Photo Booth & Ferris Wheel

Looking into a transparent screen, you would be surprised by the technology that Google has brought to the table. Google calls this the Smilebooth. Each acrylic screen showcases different sceneries and over 15,000 photos were posted showing this work of art plus, they added a Ferris wheel for festival goers to enjoy.

My Calvins House

Dubbed as a multi-sensorial experience, “houseguests” are welcomed to the home of Calvin Klein and their array of differently designed rooms. The ball pit, a crowd favourite is sseen in one of the photos. Guests can also grab CK shirts and have their initials printed on them. How cool is that?

YSL Beauty LipStation

Peet’s Cold Brew Recharge

After a day full of partying and jumping to your favourite hits, it takes a good ol’ cup of coffee to supercharge yourself back to 100%. Peet’s Coffee offered party-goers cold brew and nitro colbre on tap. They also had a roving happy hour trike that poured near the Ferris wheel area. Double the caffeine, double the fun!

Weekend two is just coming and here are some Pinoy celebrities who were present at the festival in Indio, Palm Springs.

These sisters are a power combo. Sporting neon matching outfits sure makes them stand out from a crowd full of flowery prints. They surely had a blast this weekend but the surprise performance from Katy Perry and Normani really completed this gig.
