Rihanna’s FIRST Fenty Pop Up Collection Revealed
If there’s anything that Rihanna has proven over the last couple of months, it’s definitely the fact that everything she does, she makes it big. She’s proven this when she first made us go wow with her make up collection. Her lingerie collection didn’t disappoint either in all its BDSM-inspired furry glory. Looks like she’s at it again with the release of her FIRST Fenty Collection at a pop up in Paris.
The said label was designed to embody the singer-slash-actress-slash-business woman’s style, character and experiences. True enough, each piece is unique – from oversized masculine-ish blazers, extra short skirts and colorful and metallic shades. We heard badass accessories and sunglasses were a huge focus for the entire collection too.
“Women are forces of this earth. We are multifaceted, complex, vulnerable yet bulletproof, and FENTY speaks to all of our intricacies. Some days I want to be submissive, many days I’m completely in charge and most days I feel like being both…so it was imperative that we created a line versatile enough to embrace and celebrate us in that way,” Rihanna shared. It’s also worth noting that apart from the collection being her namesake, she’s the first woman of color to helm a brand too. It’s the first time, in a very long time for an in-house brand to be under LVMH since Christian Lacroix.
The whole collection comes in a wide range of shapes and sizes. The best part? You can get pieces for as low as $200. Which isn’t so bad for something designed by Rihanna herself, TBH.
The rest of the pieces will be available online starting May 29.
