The holidays are almost here, and when it’s Christmas, that means only one thing“”Christmas songs are coming! And while we usually associate those with Jose Mari Chan or Mariah Carey, there’s one contender looking to try his hand at a Christmas album: Kaskade!

The longtime EDM producer recently announced the release of his album, Kaskade Christmas, and we couldn’t have been more pumped upon hearing the news. This isn’t the first time Christmas and EDM have intersected (I still can’t get over Diplo’s fire holiday mixtape back in 2014) but in a year that’s basically been dominated by electronic music, it seems only fitting that our Christmas jams also receive the rave treatment.

The album will feature remixes of tracks like Silent Night, The First Noel, and Santa Baby, with pop and EDM mainstays Ilsey, Dia Frampton and Skylar Grey. The album is set for release on November 24, 2017 and while that may seem like a long time for those of us impatiently waiting for it to drop, Kaskade has done us a solid and given us a sneak peek of the album to come, dropping a deep-house infused remix of Deck The Halls. If you’ve ever been curious how tropical house and white winter hymnals could possibly mix, Kaskade has given us the answer.
