If your current favorite hit chart playlist is suddenly bombarding you with songs you can’t fully understand””yet still give you legit LSS””you might be falling into a new addiction. Thanks to on-screen lyrics and to the short English chants, we get to sing along to these reggaeton tracks, but when the rap part starts, #ByeFelicia.

If you still believe that these songs are your kind of jam, then we’re here to fill your playlist with more. Here are 5 essential songs for your newfound reggaeton addiction:

Ginza by J. Balvin

The vibe of this track is just full on Pool Club jam. It’s like you’re sober AF but when the DJ plays it, you suddenly feel like you’re up for a wild night. Well, when you’re not in the club though, you can still enjoy the beats but just keep yourself together and don’t dance in public.

El Taxi by Osmani Garcia ft.Pitbull

This one’s a little bit different from what we’re going for “Ëœcause you can hear bells ringing instead of beats dropping. But if you like snappy songs and a more traditional sound, then this one’s for you. Anyways, it’s Pitbull so you know what to expect.

Bailando by Enrique Iglesias feat. Sean Paul, Descemer Bueno and Gente De Zona

Thanking heavens for the English version! This should be the one next to Despacito on your playlist “Ëœcause they are somewhat alike (this might be a good remedy when you’re just so sick of the Luis Fonsi track).

Chantaje by Shakira ft. Maluma

It’s safe to say that Shakira is our queen when it comes to this genre. Her strong voice and vibrato can suddenly make you feel like a pro in belly dancing when the truth is, you aren’t. Props to the repetitive lyrics of this song too, “Ëœcause we can sing a bit while dancing.

Despacito by Luis Fonsi feat. Daddy Yankee & Justin Bieber

What’s a reggaeton playlist without Despacito, right? Even if we could just sing JB’s parts we still feel #NoShame “Ëœcause it just gives us such feel-good vibes. Our mantra: just shake that booty when you can’t sing along anymore. LOL.

Now that you have more Reggaeton music to listen to, why not listen to it with us? This coming Saturday, June 17, at The Palace Pool Club, The Royals are throwing a college sunset party to celebrate the end of summer and everyone’s invited! Come through to Carnaval “Ëœcause there will be special foodies on the menu, and free booze too!
