Affirmations That Can Power You Through Your Week

Waking up each day can often feel like a struggle. Sometimes it doesn’t matter how passionate you are because there will come a point that even if you love what you are doing, it will end up draining you. A venting buddy, as some call it, is always good to have especially at times when you feel like your world crumbled down in one day. But what happens when you are left alone?

Affirming yourself has been proven to be a good practice in gaining that strength and confidence when times are hard. So for your rough days, we’ve listed our top 5 affirmation phrases and how we use them to get through the day, might be useful to you too!

“I Am Enough”

It sounds like a cliche but this is something we can’t not talk about. Knowing and telling yourself that however you look that day, whatever your mood is, and what struggles you might have, you are always enough. You have the power within you to grow and there might be times that you feel like you might be lacking something, know that you can always learn it. Whether is love, career, or life in general, believe that you are capable. Remind themselves that they are adequate and more than equipped and prepared for any task or challenge that they may face.

Nowhere but up..

Everything in this world is fast paced. Slowing down is not an option for some people and we always feel like there is a timeline that we have to catch. Once a day, take a step back and remind yourself that it is okay that you are doing baby steps. Take each day as it comes and accomplish your goals one by one. It’s easier when small victories lead to bigger ones than you ending up spreading yourself too thin.

“You Are What You Think”

"The internal fortitude that you cultivate with yourself is so vital. You need that because the world will often be telling you that you are full of sh*t, that you’re not enough, and that you can’t do it. And all you have to do, is trust that YOU CAN." – @natalia_benson ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I love Natalia and her podcasts because she has such a soft, sweet energy, but you can FEEL her resilience, and her backbone. I LOVE spiritual teachers and businesswomen like that. I think there are more of them rising. Soul-centered, gentle-hearted, spiritual women with the backbone to make it in business and have their voice heard in the world.

Our minds are powerful machines. Whatever you perceive, you achieve. Use the power of your mind to affect your lifestyles. Just like these affirmations, train yourself to think of three positive thoughts after one negative thought that enters your brain. Tell yourself that you are what you think and think of only good things. Quickly, you will see them manifest.

“Healthy Mind, Healthy Body, Happy Soul”

This phrase is more than an affirmation but is also a reminder. Practice keeping your physical body healthy, be more keen with the thoughts that you entertain, and eventually you will be feeling calmer & lighter. When your state of being is healthy and relaxed, the rest follows.

“I Am A Powerhouse”

Last but not the least, you should never forget to remind yourself of your power. You are capable of anything. You are a creative being and you can create your future. You are a powerhouse and nothing can stop you as long as you set your mind on it and work towards that goal.
